Every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., volunteers gather at the long table at Lystrup Library to help children and young people with their homework. The offer is open to everyone in Lystrup and is run in collaboration with the Danish Refugee Council.

About the venue: Lystrup Bibliotek

Lystrup Bibliotek is a neighbourhood branch of Aarhus Bibliotekerne and has been at its current address on Bystævnet since 1973. The single-room library houses a children's section, study spaces and a Borgerservice (citizen services) desk, and serves as a community hub for residents of Lystrup, Elsted and Elev. As an "Open Library", it can be accessed by self-service outside staffed hours. The local history archive Lystrup-Elsted-Elev-Nye Lokalhistoriske Samling is also based here, open on Mondays.
