Clothes Swap & Sewing Salon at Islands Brygge Bibliotek: 1 November – 13 December 2026, Islands Brygge Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Is your wardrobe too small, too big, or just a bit boring? At the Clothes Swap & Sewing Salon in Kulturhuset Islands Brygge, you can exchange clothes with others and get help and inspiration to repair, redesign, or transform clothes you want to enjoy again.

In the sewing salon, there is free access to fabric scraps, patterns, sewing machines, and embroidery materials that you can use to repair or redesign your items. You don't need to know how to sew beforehand - help is available. At the swap market itself, you drop off clothes you no longer wear but others might enjoy, and in return you can explore what others have brought.

It is free to participate, and you don't need to sign up - just show up. The event takes place in Koncertsalen, to the left of the main entrance.
