Clothes Swap & Sewing Salon - free: 22 November – 13 December 2026, Islands Brygge Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Is your wardrobe too small, too big, or just a bit boring? At the Clothes Swap & Sewing Salon in Kulturhuset Islands Brygge, you can exchange clothes with others and get help repairing, redesigning, or giving your old items a new life.

In the sewing salon, there are fabric scraps, patterns, sewing machines, and embroidery materials that you can use freely. You don't need to know how to sew beforehand - help is available. At the swap market itself, you drop off clothes you no longer wear but that others might enjoy, and exchange them for items from other people's collections.

Participation is free, and no registration is required - just show up. The event is held on the following dates in autumn 2026: 4/10, 1/11, 22/11, and 13/12.

The swap market and sewing salon take place in Koncertsalen, located to the left of the main entrance.
