On Thursday, October 22, The Workshop hosts a green event featuring visible mending and a shared dinner. Participation is free, but registration is required.

At 3:00 PM, the workshop "Give Your Clothes New Life with Visible Mending" begins, led by Åbyhøj's Green Neighbourhood Communities. If you have a favourite piece of clothing with a hole, stain, or worn spots, bring it along and learn to transform the repair into something beautiful and personal. You'll receive an introduction to basic embroidery techniques and inspiration for maintaining your clothes so they last longer - no prior experience needed, just a willingness to try. Feel free to bring a piece of clothing that could use some care.

The event is part of the Green Neighbourhood Communities initiative and focuses on reducing textile waste, caring for resources, and creating with your hands.

At 5:30 PM, Åby Bibliotek serves a vegetarian dinner with legumes, shared together. If you'd like to stay longer, you can participate in Creative Evenings until 9:00 PM.
