Family Day: Can't Wait for Christmas

Family Day: Can't Wait for Christmas: Saturday 28 November 2026, 10:00–13:00, Varde Bibliotek, Varde.

Join your family for a festive day at the library, where you can decorate and get into the Christmas spirit.

You'll cut and make Christmas decorations, and help decorate the library's Christmas trees. There's also storytelling, Christmas films, and group singing.

Schedule for the day:

The Salon 12:00-12:45 - Christmas carol singing with Dorthe Bach from Musik & Billedskolen (registration required).

The Teaching Room 10:00-13:00 - Christmas crafts, with storytelling at selected times.

The Craft Table 10:00-13:00 - make gift tags from manila paper, draw Christmas motifs, or add your own gnome to the gnome landscape.

The Film Room 10:00-13:00 - Christmas films for the whole family.

Throughout the Children's Library - find the letters and solve the puzzle in a Christmas letter hunt.
