Workshop: Poetry and Clay

Poetry and Clay workshop: Saturday 7 November 2026, 10:00–12:30, Varde Bibliotek, Varde. Tickets cost 25 kr.

A Saturday morning focused on language and form, where the pace slows down and there is room for calm and reflection. Participants shape poetry in self-hardening clay inspired by words, poems, proverbs, and other texts they bring themselves.

The morning begins with a short reading of selected texts. Then you start working on your own piece, without fixed rules for what it should contain or how it should look. You immerse yourself and shape alongside the other participants.

Everyone can participate, regardless of experience, and you go home with your own piece of poetry in clay. It's a good idea to bring a favorite poem, a proverb, or another text that you find beautiful or meaningful.

Coffee or tea is often served at the events, so please bring your own cup for environmental reasons. Location: The Teaching Room (Children's Library).
