At Hårlev Library, we sew muleskinner pouches for the library's users from recycled materials on donated sewing machines. There is fabric, beads, and coffee, with plenty of time for conversation along the way.

You don't need any sewing experience. There are several different tasks, and help is available if you want to learn.

The event is for adults. You can also participate in the morning at Store Heddinge Library or visit both places on the same day. No registration required - just drop by whenever it suits you.

Hårlev Bibliotek is one of three branches of Stevns Bibliotekerne, serving the town of Hårlev in Stevns Kommune. It doubles as a children's culture house, with a particular focus on activities for families and young children. Visitors can borrow books and digital materials, use free Wi-Fi and study spaces, and attend regular events such as talks, reading groups and creative workshops. Outside staffed hours the building is accessible as a self-service library.
