Legal Aid Clinic

Ringsted Library offers free and anonymous legal advice, open to everyone regardless of financial situation. Come in person to the Activity Room - numbers are handed out from 3:30 PM on a first-come, first-served basis, and number distribution stops at 4:30 PM. The lawyer can see up to 9 people between 4 PM and 6 PM.

The service works as a legal first-aid clinic: you can get verbal guidance on common legal questions - for example about divorce, parental custody, real estate, rental agreements, inheritance, or compensation. The lawyer won't have time to go into depth with your case, but can point you in the right direction.

Lawyers are bound by strict confidentiality. Bring all relevant documents.
