Apps for Dyslexia

There are many digital tools available for young people and adults who struggle with reading and/or writing due to dyslexia or other challenges. An app can, for example, read text aloud by photographing it, or convert speech to SMS and email.

Reading consultants from the Center for Special Education in Slagelse will demonstrate this afternoon how the various apps work in practice. They will also answer questions about tools and education for young and adult dyslexic readers and can advise you if you need to apply for relevant assistive technology.

Open house from 3:30 p.m. in the Central Room. Bring your phone so you can download and try out apps - there are versions for both iPhone and Android.
