First Aid for Your Baby

It can be difficult to act quickly and correctly when something goes wrong with a baby - whether it's something stuck in the throat, a fall, or a sudden high fever.

The course covers basic first aid techniques for babies and small children. The instructor comes from Midt- and Sydsjællands Brand & Redning and will go through how to handle an unconscious child, perform chest compressions on a baby, and what to do about foreign objects in the throat or febrile convulsions.

Babies are welcome, but prams must be parked in the children's library. The course takes place in the Activity Room.
