Ringsted Library offers instruction in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on Defibrillator Day. Søren Hansen from the local branch of the Danish Heart Foundation in Ringsted leads the training, held in two sessions: at 11:00 and 13:00.

No registration required - just drop by. There is a quiz for everyone and heart balloons for children.

Ringsted Bibliotek og Borgerservice is the town's public library and a local cultural hub. The collection covers books, e-books, audiobooks, periodicals and digital resources, and the building has study areas, a children's library and a café corner. As an open library, it gives borrowers aged 15 and over self-service access from early morning to late evening. The event programme includes author evenings, reading clubs and board-game nights.
