Every week begins with communal singing at the library, where Lis Nielsen accompanies on piano. The programme features hymns, folk songs and songs from the Højskolesangbogen songbook.

Ringsted Bibliotek og Borgerservice is the town's public library and a local cultural hub. The collection covers books, e-books, audiobooks, periodicals and digital resources, and the building has study areas, a children's library and a café corner. As an open library, it gives borrowers aged 15 and over self-service access from early morning to late evening. The event programme includes author evenings, reading clubs and board-game nights.
