Ringsted Board Game Festival 2026

Ringsted Board Game Festival takes place on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at Ringsted Library - and this year the festival is bigger than ever. The library showcases its own game collection, and local game guides assist at the game stations, whether you are a beginner or an experienced player.

The programme includes strategy games, cooperative games, social deduction games, and EXIT games, where participants solve puzzles and crack codes together in an escape room-like format. Game designers visit the festival, demonstrate their own games, and talk about the process behind developing a board game.

New this year is the opportunity to try role-playing games in the Facilities Pavilion, with a focus on storytelling and cooperation. There is also a flea market where used board games can be bought and sold.

Entry is free, but registration is required for some games - it opens on Monday, 14 September. Follow the library's website and social media for ongoing programme updates. The library also holds board game Wednesdays 7-9 pm and board game Saturdays 10 am-2 pm, and on the YouTube channel Spilkarrusellen you can find films about the most popular board games.
