Mad Heads is one of Ukraine's most renowned rock bands, founded in 1991 by singer, guitarist and songwriter Vadym Krasnookyi. The band blends ska, reggae, rockabilly and other styles, has released eight studio albums and over 30 music videos, and has performed more than 1,000 concerts in Ukraine and toured in 12 countries. Songs like "Nadiya Ye" (There Is Hope) and "A Ya Na Mori" (And I'm at the Seaside) are widely known, and the band's songs have accumulated over 70 million views on YouTube.
In May 2026, the band released the song "Pro liubov" (About Love) as part of the project "Zbyti Rymy" (Fallen Rhymes), where songs are set to poems written by soldiers. Vadym Krasnookyi is currently on a solo world tour titled "Nadiya Ye" in support of Ukraine's armed forces. Since 2024, the tour has included over 150 concerts in 17 countries, including Europe, USA and Canada.
