Story Concert with the Dog Ib

Story Concert with the Dog Ib - for young children: Tuesday 24 November 2026, 10:00–10:30, Børnebiblioteket i Bryggen, Vejle. Admission is free.

The Dog Ib is curious and playful, discovering something new every day. Sometimes he runs into things he doesn't understand, but he always keeps his good humour and finds a solution in his own caring way.

In this story concert, Peter Nordahl - the voice of the Dog Ib - performs with his regular musician. They play at children's eye level with stories and songs from Ib's world. Peter Nordahl brings a large book with illustrations that follow the stories, so children can follow along. He reads calmly and plays and sings the songs children know from TV between the stories.

After the concert, all participants receive a Pixi book to take home as a memento of the day with the Dog Ib and Peter Nordahl.

The event is aimed at children aged approximately 2-5 years. Entry is free, but registration is required and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Send an email to Laura Nyhus Kirk (lanki@vejle.dk) or Jonas Tøibner Lindberg Hansen (jonhw@vejle.dk) with the name of your daycare, the number of children and adults attending.

The event is part of the opening programme for ENGEN - Cultural Centre and Library and takes place in the Inger Christensen Hall.
