Author Evening with Mich Vraa

Mich Vraa is an author, translator, and former journalist with decades of work in Danish literature. His novels connect historical events with human fates and moral dilemmas, built on thorough research and an eye for both detail and the bigger picture.

In his latest novel "I Am Not Catherine", he turns his gaze toward Ernest Hemingway's world and tells the story of Agnes von Kurowsky - the nurse who inspired the character Catherine Barkley in "A Farewell to Arms". The novel gives voice to the woman behind the myth and explores the relationship between reality, fiction, and the right to one's own story.

The evening features a lecture by Mich Vraa followed by an author interview with the evening's cultural moderator. The event takes place in Rollosalen at Faxe Library.
