DR Novel Club 2027

DR Romanklub 2027 establishes one book club in Esbjerg and one in Ribe, each with space for 10 participants. From January to May 2027, the clubs read and discuss the six novels nominated for the DR Romanprisen - one novel per month. When the season ends, each participant submits their top three, and together with nearly 100 book clubs across the country, you help crown the winner.

The library provides books, discussion questions, and meeting spaces, and all meetings are led by a library facilitator. You simply need to read the book and be willing to share your thoughts. Registration covers the entire season, so check your calendar carefully before signing up.

Meeting times - both clubs: Thursdays 16:30-18:00
7 January, 4 February, 4 March, 1 April, 29 April and 20 May 2027.

The Esbjerg club meets at Hovedbiblioteket Esbjerg, the Ribe club at Ribe Bibliotek.

Registration: Send an email to Lenette at lans@esbjerg.dk by 26 October. Clearly write ESBJERG or RIBE in the subject line. If there are more registrations than spaces, a draw will be held - group registrations are not given priority. All registered participants will be notified as soon as possible after the registration deadline.
