In November 2025, the UN Security Council adopted the American 20-point peace plan for Gaza, and in January 2026 a Peace Council was established with Trump at the helm.

This event examines what the peace plan concretely means for Israel and Palestine, and what consequences the 20-point plan and the Peace Council may have for developments in the Middle East and the rest of the world.

The event is a collaboration with the Rubicon Association.

About the venue: Fredericia Bibliotek

Fredericia Bibliotek is the city's main public library, housed in Prinsessegade. The first floor holds the non-fiction and study section, while the second floor is home to fiction and the children's department. Beyond books and digital resources, the library hosts author talks, debates and workshops, and associations can book a hall or meeting room for non-commercial use. Passport and driving licence applications are also handled on site - by appointment.
