In the lecture "Not Without a Fight", Matilde Kimer draws on the lives of two Ukrainians in Kharkiv and her own experiences from war-torn Ukraine. She portrays the human consequences of war - the terrors, the hope, and the will to keep fighting when the world crumbles.

The lecture is based on Kimer's latest book of the same name and goes close to the people living behind the headlines of the front lines.
