Staircase Singing in the Old Foyer

The library's beautiful old foyer with its grand staircase provides the setting for "Staircase Singing" - a community sing-along held on the first Tuesday of each month this autumn. The event is arranged in collaboration with Sangkraft Lemvig, and singing teacher Sisse Skovbakke plays piano. Everyone is welcome, regardless of vocal range.

The Højskolesangbogen (folk song collection) is the focus - bring your own copy if you have one. During the event, a library staff member reads passages from literature that match the season or the day's theme, and afterwards there is coffee.
