On Friday, November 27 at 4:30 PM, Father Christmas is welcomed at Munkebo Harbour, where he arrives by boat. Afterwards, everyone walks together to the town's Christmas tree, which is lit at 5 PM.

The programme features Christmas carols, dancing around the tree, candy bags for children, and mulled wine with Danish pancakes for adults.

The event is a collaboration between Munkebo Scouts, Kerteminde Libraries, Spar Munkebo, Munkebo Cultural Centre, Munkebo Culture and Library Friends, and the Music and Culture School.

Munkebo Bibliotek on Lindøalleen is a branch of Kerteminde Bibliotekerne, serving as a local cultural and learning hub for Munkebo and the surrounding area.
