Jeanette Varberg: Viking - Plunder, Fire and Sword

Jeanette Varberg draws on her book "Viking - Plunder, Fire and Sword" and places the Viking Age in a long historical perspective - as the culmination of a development that began 700 years earlier.

The lecture is arranged in collaboration between Biecentret, BOF - daytime evening school, and Mariagerfjord Libraries. The price includes light refreshments.

Jeanette Varberg is a museum inspector at the National Museum of Denmark and was previously a museum inspector at Moesgaard Museum. She writes regularly for Kristeligt Dagblad and frequently appears in the media offering historical perspectives on current issues such as climate change, conflict, and migration.
