As part of Mariager Folkemøde 2026, you can visit Mariager Library and decorate your own kite. Kites and markers are ready to use, and you decide the design entirely. Afterwards, you can test your kite's flying abilities outside - if the wind cooperates.

The activity is free and requires no advance booking, but only while supplies last. The event is part of Mariager Folkemøde 2026: Europe in Change.

About the venue: Mariager Bibliotek

Mariager Bibliotek on Teglgade 6 is the public library in Mariager and part of Mariagerfjord Bibliotekerne. The ground floor has computers, a coffee machine and seating areas, while the first floor holds a meeting room with a projector that anyone can book free of charge. The library runs a regular programme of reading clubs, author evenings and children's activities, and its collections cover books, e-books, audiobooks and periodicals. Outside staffed hours, a health card serves as the entry pass.
