Fire, Water, Earth, Air

"Fire, Water, Earth, Air" is a documentary about climate change in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Faroe Islands. The film stays close to the local: everyday stories and the people directly affected by the changes. Four narratives from the Nordic region paint a picture of nature under pressure, where the four elements play the leading role - and especially in Denmark, water is felt as it erodes the coasts and floods the cities.

Before the film, a local project manager will speak about the significance of climate change for the Mariagerfjord area, including the wastewater management projects currently being carried out in Mariager as a direct consequence of the changes.

The event is a collaboration between Mariager Film Club, the Danish Nature Conservation Association and Mariagerfjord Libraries.
