Description was written before the event
Many genealogy researchers know the frustration of navigating the National Archives' online registry DAISY. Ulrich tackles exactly that and walks through the system's structure to make it easier to find what you're looking for.
The presentation covers how to prepare a visit to a regional archive or the National Archives when your family has roots in another part of Denmark. Ulrich also explores how DAISY and ArkivalierOnline connect, and what tools are available for ordering materials - including DigDag, the interactive historical-administrative map of Denmark.
The event is organized by Danske Slægtsforskere Varde and takes place in the Værkstedet room at Varde Library.
