Batidas International Street Theatre Festival: Ludo & Arsène

Two men are on their way to an important mission - but are constantly distracted by the people they meet along the way. Each encounter develops into a new scene with acrobatics, improvisation, and quirky humour in the middle of the city.

The Belgian duo Be Flat moves around the festival area and uses the surroundings as a natural part of the performance. Trees, benches, walls, tables, and a 2.20-metre ladder become props in an interplay between body, space, and audience. The performance sits at the intersection of circus and street theatre, and the audience becomes part of the action at each stop along the route.
