Debut Fest: I Practice

"jeg øver" is an embroidery work about repetition. The words "jeg øver" and "mor" are repeated until they simultaneously become image, action, and feeling - embroidered mantras that are insistent, rhythmic, and open. The work explores practicing being human together with others.

It does not invite quick reading, but rather invites lingering over the words, the stitches, and the shifts in meaning that arise when something is said again and again.
