AI session in English
In this 40-minute session, you'll learn about the processes behind AI language tools through a simple group activity. No technical knowledge required. You'll leave with a better understanding of how these tools generate text - and why they sometimes get things wrong.
The session is part of a research project from the University of Sheffield on how best to teach people how AI tools actually work. It's aimed at all adults interested in AI, whether you use it yourself or prefer to stay away from it.
Participation involves a short online questionnaire before the session (about 10 minutes), the 40-minute workshop itself, and a short follow-up questionnaire (about 10 minutes). Your answers will be anonymized in the research.
Participation is free and voluntary. Sign up here: https://forms.gle/RL83VKeEL4JDoXdW6
