Author Evening: Keld Conradsen

What does it mean to be a good person - and is such a thing even possible? This fundamental question lies at the heart of Keld Conradsen's latest novel "Det gode menneske" (The Good Person), which will be the focus of this evening at Åby Bibliotek.

The novel follows Finn, a young researcher who investigates altruism and human nature, but decades later must confront a past he believed was forgotten. The story alternates between Aarhus in the 1990s and the present day, exploring love, science, and identity.

Conradsen will discuss how the novel came to be and the themes that preoccupy him as a writer. The conversation will also touch on his other works, which often centre on historical events, existential questions, and human relationships. Conradsen holds degrees in geology and philosophy and received the DR Romanprisen in 2023 for "Byen og havet".
