Hal C og Holmens Idrætsanlæg sits beside Christianshavn's city moat and is run by the City of Copenhagen. Hal C is a red-clad multi-purpose sports hall designed by Christensen & Co Arkitekter, sized for handball, badminton and basketball, with a fitness room on the first floor and tiered seating along both long sides. The outdoor Holmens Idrætsanlæg has pitches for football, rugby and athletics. The hall serves Christianshavns Gymnasium alongside local sports clubs and associations.
