Come and play badminton - free
Nørrebrohallen, Copenhagen · Free
Children aged 6-12 can play badminton for free at Nørrebrohallen - an adult must accompany them. Hall 1A has 5 courts, but the number reserved for this event varies, so check at the information desk when you arrive. Courts are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and if there are many players, doubles matches are arranged.
If your child doesn't have a racket, you can borrow one free of charge along with a plastic shuttlecock from the hall's information desk. There is no instructor - you play with whoever you came with or find a partner on site. If the net isn't set up when you arrive, the information desk staff can show you how to set it up.
Getting there: Take the metro or S-train line F to Nørrebro Station and walk about 5 minutes from there. Bus 5C stops at "Nørrebrohallen" right outside the hall.
This event is part of Weekend for børn - a free programme of cultural and movement activities on Nørrebro, supported by Nørrebro Lokaludvalg and held on Saturdays and Sundays in sports halls, libraries and cultural centres. All activities can be found at weekendforbørn.dk.
