KaniBalkan performs at Den Gule Plads in Copenhagen on Thursday, 10 September 2026 at 16:30. The band blends Balkan rhythms, Roma dance songs and swing in a programme for all ages. Gunni Torp, Simon Hebeltoft Hansen and Juan Pino bring stories about music's many roots to the temporary outdoor space on Asger Jorns Allé in Ørestad Syd. Admission is free. This is one of two Danish dates for KaniBalkan - the band returns to Copenhagen later in the autumn for a performance at Union.

About the venue: Den Gule Plads

Den Gule Plads is a temporary outdoor public space on Asger Jorns Allé in Ørestad Syd, created by By & Havn to serve the neighbourhood until the permanent cultural and community house Byens Hus is finished. The square hosts communal dinners, concerts, children's events and association activities. Tables and benches are stored in yellow containers on site, and electricity is available. The space can be booked free of charge through Ørestad Syd Borgerforening.
