Humleridderne + support: hun R
Islands Brygge Bibliotek, Copenhagen · 225–250 kr. · ≈ 30–33 €
For the sixth year running, Humleridderne return to Kulturhuset Islands Brygge on Friday, November 6, 2026, to celebrate J-Dag with a concert. Dan, Jimmy, Daniel, and DJ Stig have marked beer's big day on Islands Brygge every year for the past five years.
The group broke through in the mid-1990s when Danish rap truly took hold, alongside names like MC Einar, Rockers By Choice, and Østkyst Hustlers. Their debut album "Jeg Gi'r En Omgang Hvis Du Gi'r To!!" - partly produced by Chief 1 from RBC - sold close to 100,000 copies and featured the hit "Malerhjerne". This earned them the prize for "Danish Act of the Year" at the Danish Music Awards in 1997. Shortly after came "En Genial Gaveidé" with tracks like "Brobygningshysteri" - a social commentary on the Øresund Bridge - and "Operation Blå Storm".
The opening act is the rap duo hun R, who draw from 90s old-school tradition and blend humor with substance. Their lyrics explore the expectations of adult life - and what it's like when you don't have Honda, dog, and house sorted. Live, the two are joined by DJ Far at the decks, who regularly interjects with dry remarks and unsolicited advice.
Doors open at 19:30, and the concert starts at 20:00. Tickets cost 225 kr. + fee in advance and 250 kr. at the door.
