Debut Fest: Græsset gror

Græsset gror is an audiovisual film work about moving from the city to the countryside - and the quiet yet profound transformation that occurs when life's rhythm shifts. A static view of a landscape in formation is combined with an intimate soundscape from the home's everyday routines, and together they explore the tension between stillness and movement, distance and presence.

The work circles around slowness, domesticity and boredom as ways of being in the world - and what emerges when the small, almost invisible movements of everyday life are given space.

Marie Andersen (they/theirs) is an artist based in Copenhagen and Knabstrup. Marie's practice engages with bodily transitions, life changes and relationships.
