In (nothing) makes sense, Nellie Lindnér transforms images we normally scroll past in seconds into ceramic sculptures. The starting point is viral animal pictures, strange internet figures, and low-resolution memes - content with surprising personality. Through humor and absurdity, the works explore how we consume images, identity, and entertainment, and why the same content feels different depending on whether we encounter it in a gallery, on TikTok, or during endless scrolling at two in the morning.
Nellie Lindnér is a Swedish artist based in Copenhagen. She has studied drawing at Florence Academy of Art and is trained as a graphic designer - both educations shape her work. She moves between painting, ceramics, and cross-media narratives, combining classical craft traditions with digital image culture and internet aesthetics.
