Debut Fest: TIL GRIN

TIL GRIN turns itself inside out on stage - personal mishaps, self-deprecating jokes, vocals that shift in a split second from fragile dissolution to feverish screams drenched in heavy AutoTune. The concert is supported by visuals inspired by the internet's most chaotic corners.

The lyrics swing between melancholy and laugh-out-loud moments, taking the listener on wild tangents: euphoric EDM passages, monk-choir death scenes, and everything in between. The project features screaming synthesizers, bass-heavy grooves, minor-key clashes, internet culture, and absurdism - but also an insistence on living through all of life's ups and downs.

TIL GRIN was created in Axel Rugaard Wieser's bedroom, and this solo-based work has given free rein to experiment with many styles. Musically, the project draws on harsh techno, pop, (midwest) emo, blues, classical Romantic music, jazz, punk, 00s rock, and Bulgarian women's choirs.
