Film Adaptation of "A Night of Death"

Brønshøj Library presents Tea Lindeburg's film adaptation (2022) of Marie Bregendahl's short novel "En dødsnat" from 1912. The novel is set in the countryside at the end of the 19th century and follows the young Lise through the day when her mother fights for her life in childbed - while the harvest is underway and the farm's daily routines must be held together.

The film runs for 1 hour and 22 minutes and features Flora Ofelia Hofmann, Kirsten Olesen, Lisbet Dahl and Thure Lindhardt.

The event is part of the History Club at Brønshøj Library, but everyone is welcome. Admission is free, and the screening takes place in the Event Room on the 1st floor.
