Street Theatre: La Boom Machine

Free entry. As part of Denmark's International Street Theatre Festival, LA BOOM MACHINE comes to Sønderborg - one of six performances on the programme.

The show is a mobile music parade built around a converted machine with tractor aesthetics, welded together from rusty steel, lace, colours and grandmother's lamps in Nomad Mens' own workshop. Behind the wheel sits an eccentric driver - a blend of stuntman and street poet - while a drummer pounds away until the spectators give up.

The parade is not bound to one location: it departs from Rønhaveplads, drives down the pedestrian street/Perlegade and ends at Rådhustorvet. You are free to follow the entire route - no ticket required.
