Denmark's International Street Theatre Festival returns to Sønderborg with six performances. NOIS UM is free to watch - no tickets required.

NOIS UM, meaning "we are one", is a dance performance where a woman and a man meet in an ongoing search for each other's boundaries through balance, trust and shared strength. The love between them is the invisible element that binds everything together - not dominance, but an equal interplay between strength and vulnerability.

The artists combine contemporary dance, acrobatics, contact work and close combat in a poetic choreography where bodies support, challenge and adapt to each other. Live music on acoustic instruments blends with electronic beats throughout.

The performance connects to UN Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality, exploring relationships built on equality, cooperation and mutual respect rather than dominance and power.
