Sys Bjerre // Sønderborghus

Sys Bjerre returns with new music and a duo tour after a three-year break, during which life brought a child, stays in Thailand, Greece and Israel - and the dog Allan. Now she's back home with a suitcase full of new songs and is working on a studio album expected to be released in 2026.

She debuted in 2008 with Gør Det Selv, which went straight to number one on the Danish album charts and was nominated for a Danish Music Award for Best Danish Album. Her hit "Malene" still lives on the radio. Since then she has released four more albums, and her songs have found their way to radio stations, venues, festival stages and the Danish folk songbook.

Her songs circle around human quirks, our habits and the lives we live - observed sharply and with humour, but with seriousness and authenticity just beneath the surface.

On stage she performs in duo format with guitarist Mads Reinhold.
