About: Swan Lake

Tchaikovsky's sweeping score and the choreography by Petipa and Ivanov have made Swan Lake the defining work of classical ballet, performed by companies on every continent since 1895. The dual role of white swan Odette and black swan Odile remains one of the greatest technical and artistic challenges in the repertoire.
