Fiers á Cheval (F)

In Fiers à Cheval, the French Compagnie des Quidams takes the audience into a wordless dream world. Strange creatures - dressed as if from a Venetian future dream - step forward to a symphonic soundtrack and gradually transform into majestic, inflatable white horses that dance and compete in a choreographed parade led by a small mysterious figure. The performance lasts 30 minutes and is for both children and adults.

The performance takes place in Husum Bypark, directly across from Husum Bibliotek. Admission is free, and the library's toilet on the 1st floor (in the lending area) is open during the festival.

The performance is part of Copenhagen Street Theatre Festival, running from 23 to 30 August 2026 and also visiting Nørrebro, Sydhavn, Valby and Ørestad. The festival is part of DIG - Denmark's International Street Theatre Festivals.
