Film Club Evening with the Documentary "The Last Silence"
Husum Bibliotek, Copenhagen · Free
Dox:2700 presents the documentary "The Last Silence" (2025), directed by Kasper Bisgaard and Mikael Lypinski. This is the third and final event of the autumn season in 2026.\n\nIn the forests of West Virginia stands the world's most powerful radio telescope - so sensitive that even weak signals can interfere with it. Mobile phones, WiFi and microwaves are forbidden in the area around the telescope, known as "The Quiet Zone". The technological silence attracts people with electromagnetic hypersensitivity, and the film follows what happens when WiFi and smartphones begin to creep in.\n\nThe film runs 1 hour and 23 minutes with a short break, where tea and coffee are served. After the screening there is no lecture - instead the participants debate and vote on next season's programme. If you vote, you automatically become a member of the club and will be notified when tickets open.\n\nThe event is free - get your ticket on Billetto. Venue: The event room on the 2nd floor.
