A.A. Milne's classic characters - the honey-loving bear and his friends Piglet, Eeyore, Ninka and the rest of the Hundred Acre Wood - come to life on stage in this heartwarming and humorous play. The performance is aimed at children from 3 years and up. Tickets cost 25 kr. and are purchased on billetto.dk. The stage is Bryggekælderen at Islands Brygge Bibliotek, Njalsgade 15 - access is through the courtyard.

The performance is part of the storytelling festival FORTÆL, which is being held for the fourth time this year, from 7 to 12 September. Islands Brygge Bibliotek is behind the festival with festival director Marie Louise leading it, and Amager Vest Lokaludvalg supports the event. Over the five days, live storytelling performances take place at several locations on Bryggen: Kulturhuset, the library, Hans Tausen's Church and Haraldsborg - including bodega storytelling.

About the venue: Islands Brygge Bibliotek

Islands Brygge Bibliotek on Njalsgade is a small public library that has occupied the same spot in the old part of the Islands Brygge neighbourhood since 1966. The single-room space houses both adult and children's sections, with shelves stocked with new titles. Beyond lending, the library runs reading clubs, author events, book cafés and regular children's activities such as storytelling and theatre. Self-service access is available every day 08:00-20:00; a health card is required outside staffed hours.
