Open Up... (Ages 1-3)

The suitcases are packed and ready - blue, red, large, small, striped and spotted. When they open, little worlds emerge: teddy bears that can't fall asleep, a doll hosting a tea party.

The performance is aimed at children between 1 and 3 years old and their adults. At a gentle pace, Sif Jessen Hymøller unfolds a universe with puppet theatre, music, stories and rhymes. The performance was created by Sif Jessen Hymøller in co-production with Teater Refleksion, directed by Bjarne Sandborg, with puppets and scenography by Sif Jessen Hymøller herself.

The performance is part of the Teatermagi festival during the autumn break (week 42), where children's theatre is shown at cultural centres and libraries across many Copenhagen neighbourhoods: Østerbro, Vesterbro, Amager, Nørrebro, Vanløse, Valby, Indre By, Brønshøj-Husum, Sydhavnen, Bispebjerg and Tingbjerg. Ticket sales open 14 September.
