Clothes Swap & Sewing Salon

Is your wardrobe too small, too big, or just a bit boring? At the Clothes Swap & Sewing Salon in Kulturhuset Islands Brygge, you can exchange clothes with others or get help repairing, redesigning, and transforming what you already own.

In the sewing salon, there are fabric scraps, patterns, sewing machines, and embroidery materials available for free use - and you don't need any prior sewing experience, as help is on hand. At the clothes swap market, you drop off clothes you no longer wear and exchange them for other people's finds from their closets.

The event is free and requires no registration - just show up. Dates in autumn 2026: 4/10, 1/11, and 22/11.

The market and sewing salon are located in Koncertsalen, just to the left when you enter through the main entrance.
