Late Summer Foraging Walk

Autumn is here - and so is the harvest season in the wild. Nature guide and forest ranger Jørgen Rye leads a walk out onto the meadow, where we search for berries, fruit, nuts and herbs from September's natural pantry. The walk ends with tea and tastings. The walk is approximately 3-4 km and is for the whole family - remember to dress for the weather.

Meeting point: DR Byens Metro station. Ticket: 35 kr. per person.

The event is arranged in collaboration with Kulturhuset Islands Brygge and Solvang Bibliotek.

Fælles Frø is a seed bank on Amager where you can collect seeds of native species for your garden or balcony. In autumn you can harvest seeds from flowering plants and return them, so together we support biodiversity on Amager. The seed banks are located at Solvang Bibliotek, Kulturhuset Islands Brygge, Børnekulturhus Ama'r and Kvarterhuset.
