Double Release Concert - Kraftdyr & A Little Human!

Two Danish jazz ensembles celebrate their latest albums in a single evening.

Kraftdyr draws from the modern jazz tradition, blending rock-blues, soul-funk, Afro grooves, and intimate ballads. The band released their debut album Kraftdyr in 2025 and this summer presents their new album Opabinia. The lineup features Fredrik Moth (tenor saxophone), Jason Shooster (guitar), Laurits Høgel (piano), Niels Wilhelm Knudsen (bass), and Johan Dynnesen (drums).

A Little Human! is a swing quartet with Jason Shooster (guitar), Laurits Høgel (piano), Tomas Raae (double bass), and Johan Dynnesen (drums). The four musicians are active on the Danish and international jazz scene and regularly collaborate with artists such as Jacob Fischer, Kira Martini, Thomas Fryland, and Clarice Assad. Their debut album from March 2025 brings original jazz manouche and swing infused with Eastern European folk traditions. Their second album, Generations, arrives in summer 2026 and continues exploring swing music shaped by different cultural traditions.
