Emma Pilgaard brings her solo programme "A Woman's Voice" to Tøjhuset in Fredericia on Friday, 11 September 2026 as part of FredagsJAM. The venue occupies a listed building from 1853, originally built as a sugar refinery, with a concert hall featuring a balcony that holds 200 seated or 400 standing guests. A bar and café are on site. This is one of four Danish dates on the tour - after Fredericia, Pilgaard performs in Sønderborg, Frederikshavn and Copenhagen. Advance tickets cost 140 kroner.

About the venue: Tøjhuset

Tøjhuset is Fredericia's main live venue, housed in a listed building from 1853 that was originally built as a sugar refinery. The concert hall with balcony seats 200 or holds 400 standing, with a bar/café attached. The programme spans rock, pop, jazz, blues and classical music - around 200 events a year, all run by volunteers under the user association Fredericia Live.

Since graduating from conservatory, Odense-based Emma Pilgaard has built a firm reputation in Danish jazz - two five-star albums and regular airplay on DR P8 Jazz. This autumn she brings her third album, A Woman's Voice, on the road with an international quintet drawn from Denmark, Estonia, Sweden and Poland.
