Death on Prescription - How Assisted Dying Will Change Society

Freja Polonius is a prominent voice in the debate on active euthanasia and author of the acclaimed book "My Friend Wants to Die". The lecture is based on her latest book "Death on Prescription", which brings together personal and professional reflections on what legalization could mean for society's understanding of care - and for those living with incurable suffering. She examines where the boundary of self-determination lies, and whether we are capable of providing the necessary support for life.

The event is organized in collaboration with Aftenskolerne in Horsens Municipality. Gigt Horsens hosts a glass of wine or water after the lecture.

The lecture takes place in the Café at Horsens Library. There is free parking at Langmarksvej 85 and Nørrebakken 1, and entrance to the café from both addresses.
